How many threads we are going to need with the 10 page per sub-forum limit.

Okay, I will say that the number is beyond one person can do, or even two people, maybe even three people for that matter. The number is.... not good, I did the calculation like this:

On the second page, I counted how many threads there was until the next page, there are 15 threads. From page 2 to page 10, that would go to 135 threads per sub-forum.

The first page however is not 15 threads, Stickies do not count. Therefor, only the threads that are on that page and are not sticked count.

So then all I did was do 15 x 9 for every sub-forum, then count how many non-sticked threads were on page one.

I have the calculation and numbers here:

General Discussion: 15 x 9 + 8 = 143

Spore Hints and Strategy: 15 x 9 + 6 = 141

Spore Console: 15 x 9 + 9 = 144

Spore Mobile/iPhone: 15 x 9 + 14 = 149

Spore Creature Creator: 15 x 9 + 15 = 150

Spore Galactic Adventures: 15 X 9 + 9 = 144

Spore Community Showcase: 15 x 9 + 12 = 147

Creator Corner: 15 x 9 + 9 = 144

Adventure Corner: 15 x 9 + 10 = 145

Spore Rolepay: 15 x 9 + 12 = 147

Spore Feedback: 15 x 9 + 8 = 143

Developer Corner: 15 x 9 + 8 = 143

Spore Help: 15 x 9 + 8 = 143

Spore Mac Help: 15 x 9 + 10 = 145

Science and Spore: 15 x 9 + 11 = 146

Total threads needed to make this work: 143 + 141 + 144 + 149 + 150 + 144 + 144 + 147 + 144 + 145 + 147 + 143 + 143 + 143 + 145 + 146 = 2318.

Okay, it is obvious that DarkLord can't do this by himself, we need some people who can help spam or reduce the payload for him. Because 2318 threads are a lot for one person to do.

Anyone who can spam on a different persona would be useful, we need to find people and fast.

It takes me about 15 seconds to create a spam thread, as I type fast and have my spamming material already put onto my copy thingy-ma-jig so I can just put in the thread name and Ctrl+V. 60/15 = 4 threads per minute, so 2318 / 4 threads per min. = 579.5 minutes of posting, or approx. 9.7 hours of posting threads at a rate of 4 threads per min.

If you can devote such time, do so, once I'm done with Melvin, I'll help.

We don't need the entire list to be fulfilled, actually. As long as we get the big threads, we've proven our threat amount. It would be nice to do the others, but we're mainly in a state that's all about necessities right now.

Though I really wish Taupo and Rainey could make it v_v

But once we've got the big threads, we should focus on spam. We can always go back once we're done, if we get that much time.

Already pitched the idea to him, we're pretty good friends. He knows about the plan but says he won't help, but he won't tell either.

I suggest trying to spam the major sub-forums first, such as the General Discussion, Community Showcase and Roleplay.

Yeah, those will be the big hits.

I'd like to know how many people are going to simply spam, along with their average post per minute rates, so I can further calculate how long this will take.

I'm not sure what my post per minute rate it, but it'll be pretty fast. And I think it's you and me and your friend who are spamming. But when the others finish with Melvin they'll help.

I'm supposed to do the Melvin with Pwn and Sharples, it was mentioned in the attack plans. After that's finished, I'll begin spamming. On a different account, of course. Yay, reinstalling Spore to use another account!
